“ I had no Expectations of eating at corner cafe in red lion for breakfast. I chose for breakfast 2 pieces of French toast 2 eggs and 2 sausage links and decaf coffee. All were very reasonably price for under $11.00. Food was delicious. Our waitress was very attentive ( I forgot to ask For her name) for future. My only complaint was the cap On the syrup container easily comes off when using. So be careful. I would definitely highly recommend breakfast at the corner cafe on Lombard road in red lion. My experience was on a Saturday morning around nine am. Dinner review since I had a delicious breakfast I had high expectations of the cafe for a late lunch or early dinner. I read online menu a classic Rueben for 9.95. When I went to order the waiter said they don’t have the rueben. I should of left than as I was hungry for a good rueben. But to not be rude and walk out. I chose to order another dish. I chose baby roast beef with stuffing platter and 2 sides. My choice of platter didn’t meet my high expectations like I have for their breakfasts. The stuffing tasted like heavy buttered toasted bread. Gravy very salty. Beef while thinly sliced very tough to cut even with a steak knife. Creamy Cole slaw delicious and pickled egg and beet’s delicious. Now I understand why the parking lot was practically empty when I pulled up. But when I drive past the front the sign read open. Will I return to the cafe? Yes but only for their delicious breakfasts. And I will drive by for an early dinner or late lunch. Next time I want a rueben I will drive to memory lane or Hellamshire. ”

“ Went for dinner. Staff was very friendly and food came out in a reasonable time. Waitress checked on us frequently to make sure we had what we needed to make our visit a happy one. Food was very very good. My pasta broccoli and chicken was the best I have had and hubby said pork chops were so tender and he actually finished all 3. Good prices too! Great experience. Great neighborhood addition! ”

“ The food is really good. The service is solid too. Prices are in line and portions are ample (I had the Cowboy Omelette and it was almost perfect). It's a good meet up spot. Overall the flashing of a light that's failing and only about half of which seem to work and the general dark nature of the furnishings just make this a dreary experience. It's a good spot for a quick bite and off you go. ”
